Meyer Travel Group is a small independent tour company that can arrange individual or group tours to any world destination. The Meyer Travel Group has over eighteen years of experience making sure the individual traveler and groups have the best possible travel and cultural experience. Annually Meyer Travel Group creates six to eight tours to numerous locations in Europe, the Baltic States, Turkey, Russia and Egypt. At the request of service groups, special interest groups, university groups, associations and friends, Meyer Travel Group arranges unique tours to where the travelers have the option of determining the destination and sites to be visited. Ample time for shopping or personal exploration is allowed at each destination. Most groups are approximately 20 participants. Meyer Travel Group uses three, four and five star hotels. Katie Meyer, the owner of Meyer Travel Group, personally escorts all tour groups.        Katie has lived in Athens Greece and Frankfurt Germany and has traveled extensively. Over the past decade Katie has witnessed unprecedented and profound historical transformations in many of the countries she has visited with her groups. Her observations and insights along with her education and knowledge of art history, architecture and design provide her travelers a unique and memorable experience. Katie holds a Masters Degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis in ancient art history, architecture and design. She has taught art history and history of interior design and architecture. She has served as the Chairperson of the Art Department at Howard College in Big Spring, Texas, as adjunct faculty at the University of Texas and at Arapahoe College in Denver, Colorado. Her energy, enthusiasm and knowledge provide her clients with a once in a lifetime travel and cultural experience.
